Police Seek Assistance in Hunt for High-Profile Burglary Suspect

Gambiaj.com – (BANJUL) – The Gambia Police Force has issued a notice seeking the public’s assistance in locating Mass Njie, a Senegalese national wanted in connection with a series of burglaries and thefts.

Njie is alleged to have committed the following crimes:

– On January 27, 2024, he reportedly broke into Ping Money Bureau, located on Kairaba Avenue in the Standard Chartered Building, and stole a substantial amount of money.
– On February 5, 2024, he allegedly broke into Vista Bank in Banjul and stole money.
– On February 29, 2024, Njie is said to have broken into an APS Bureau in Old Yundum, West Coast Region, where he again stole money.

Njie, who is known to be involved in the fishing trade at Tanji, is considered a high-profile criminal specializing in burglary.

The police are urging anyone with information regarding Mass Njie’s whereabouts to come forward. They are dedicated to apprehending him to ensure the security and safety of the public.
